On February 23, 2011 Bob Brindell and Bill Groth came to present to GSA’s 7th Grade American History class on what life was like for Militia Soldiers during the American Revolution. Both men are members of the local Sons of the American Revolution and they showed students a collection of American Revolution flags as well as giving the meaning and history of each. They also discussed the weapons, a flintlock musket and pistol, and clothing that militia soldiers would bring to fight.
