In April, forty students from GSA chose to participate in the National Spanish Exam. They competed both on a national and local level. Isaiah Merchant (9th grade) and Maggie Kinealy (7th grade) received honorable mention for scoring higher than 50% of test-takers nationwide.
Locally, GSA took 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for middle school Spanish. Congratulations to the winners posted in the picture. Maggie Kinealy (7th grade) received 1st place in the area. Angelica Vigil (6th grade) received 2nd place, and Chloe Cherry (7th grade) received 3rd place.
