On November 21st, 2013, the Service Learning Club visited a Lutheran Senior Services residential community: Mackenzie Place. The club members enjoyed making holiday cards and ornaments with the residents. Many of the residents grew up around the GSA neighborhood, so they shared lots of stories. One of the residents was a long time volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, and that is the Service Learning Club’s next project. They will make and serve a meal to the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House on December 16th.
