GSA Red Cross Visit

On Thursday, December 12th, 2013, staff and students from Gateway Science Academy Middle/High School went to the St. Louis chapter of the American Red Cross.  The group presented a check for $366 that they raised to support the Typhoon Haiyan disaster relief efforts in the Philippines.  When the disaster struck, GSA staff members were saddened and wanted to help.  They decided to hold a Teacher Raffle by offering various special experiences for the students to win.  Thirteen different staff members offered raffle prizes to help raise money for the Philippines!  We are proud of the way our students came together to support a good cause and how willing our teachers were to help.  The students pictured were some of the raffle winners.
