GSA visited Southern Illinois University on April 30th, 2011 with a group of 6th and 7th grade students. Dr. Akkaya, GSA Governing Board President and Professor at the Southern Illinois University Computer Science Department gave us a campus tour and let us see his research lab as well as the classroom where he lectures. Our students had a wonderful experience and enjoyed learning about different career options. State of art Seven floor library was worth seeing along with all the other departments we visited.
