On Saturday, November 3rd, the Ivy League Mentoring Program had its first large-group monthly meeting. First, the students took an assessment that covered the first four weeks of mathematics and language arts skills that they had practiced. The purpose of the assessment was to see what students learned and to make sure that they were taking the IMP weekly assignments seriously. Following the test, the students had pizza and treats. Students, teachers and parents then went to Sports Fusion in Chesterfield for some fun and group bonding. The group played laser tag, climbed on the indoor rock wall, raced on the inflatable obstacle course and played mini-golf.
The next large group IMP meeting will take place on Friday, November 30th.
