Mayor Slay and officials from the city of St. Louis, Lindenwood University and Concept Schools arrived September 1st, 2010 at Gateway Science Academy to welcome our school to the St. Louis City community. A brief ribbon cutting ceremony took place and students demonstrated GSA ROCKS! with great school pride for our guests. Flowers were presented to thank our esteemed guests for their visit and after several words of encouragement from the Mayor, the group embarked on a tour of our school. Staff and students welcomed Mayor Slay and guests into their classrooms and talked about their experiences at GSA.
