Red Ribbon Week, 10/2010

Student Council put on Red Ribbon Week during the last week of October.  Members put together “drug free treats” for the rest of the school (including Twizzlers: “Don’t Let Drugs Twist Your Mind” and ghost pops: Drugs Will Haunt You for Life: Just Say NO!”).  Schoolwide, students participated in activities such as signing the “pledge to be drug free” poster; creating a class motto, writing it on a balloon and hanging it around the school; and writing what activities they do in order to stay drug free and creating a school wide chain from them.  A huge thanks goes out to officers  Josh and Erin  Becherer for participating in our festivities.
