Sixth Grade Creates Art Good Enough to Eat!

The sixth graders in Mrs. Bland’s art class were able to make an art project that involved one of their favorite things: candy! The students brought their favorite candy and were allowed to eat it in class. They first drew a realistic life-size drawing using colored pencils, trying to capture every detail of the wrapper. Then it was time to make it big! They redrew their wrappers on large paper. After painting two papers for the front and back, they stapled the sides and stuffed them with newspaper to create larger-than-life replicas that looked very yummy!
